How to enable custom thumbnails on YouTube and How to add custom thumbnails to your YouTube Video

You are not able to set the custom thumbnail for your YouTube videos?You don't know how to do it?

Then you are the right place.Now I will show you how to enable the custom thumbnail option for your YouTube channels.I will tell how to add custom thumbnail also.

Main reasons for your custom thumbnail not enabled is you are not a verified user of YouTube.How to check you have not verified user or not?Follow the below steps.

1. First goto Browser and type youtube.com and sign in with your account.
2. Now Goto Creator Studio.
   
3. Now go to Channel on the left of the screen.
   
   
   
   
4. Now scroll down and see you can find custom thumbnail option is not enabled.
   
5. Scroll up and see below your account name.You can see verify button.That's why you are not able to set the custom Thumbnails.
   
6. So if we verify our account then we are able to set the custom thumbnail.So click in verify button.
   
   
   
   
7. Then you will be redirected to this screen.Here select your country and select the mode how you want to receive OTP for your mobile.
   
8. Enter your OTP sent to your mobile and click on submit.
   
9. Now your account got verified.
   
10. Click on continue and see.
    
11. Now scroll down and see custom thumbnails has been verified.
    
12. Now you can add Custom Thumbnails.I will tell you how to add it.

How to add Custom Thumbnail.

1. Now click on Video Manager.
   
2. Now click on the edit button of the respective video you want to add a custom thumbnail.
   
3. See now custom thumbnail button will be avilable for you.
   
4. Click on the Custom Thumbnail button and choose the thumbnail.
   
5. See custom thumbnail has been added to your video.
