One UI 5:

One UI is one of the best UI in smartphones out in the market. Three years ago SAMSUNG has launched its first One UI version i.e., One UI 2. year after year One UI has evolved so much, and now Samsung is ready to launch their latest One UI version One UI 5 from the end of October 2022, starting with the Samsung S22 series phone. Earlier in August 2022, Samsung released its One UI 5 beta version to its Samsung galaxy S22 users.

The philosophy of One UI is "Your Phone Your way", so Samsung is bringing more personalized lock screens where we can add up to 15 photos or videos to our lock screen. Else we can leave it to One UI 5 it will dynamic pictures in the Lock screen with its "Display Lock screen" feature according to our taste. One UI 5 also brings more vibrant colors.

Now in One UI 5, they are combining both "Biometrics and Security" and "Privacy" into one feature know as "Security and Privacy". This provides all the security options under one roof and it also provides the steps to be followed if any potential threat is found.

One UI 5 also provides shortcuts for life. They call it as "Moods and Routine". These moods and Routines consist of Exercise, Relax, and Driving. We can set our preferences in these "Moods and Routine" which allows us to be focused on our goals and priorities.

Enhancing Productivity is the key feature of One UI 5. Now with One UI 5, we can multitask with up to 3 windows, As we have already seen in Samsung Galaxy Fold 4. With the introduction of the Taskbar in Galaxy Z Fold 4 multi-tasking has become more powerful and It is also taken to next level. Samsung will roll out this taskbar feature to Tab S8 and earlier Galaxy Z Fold models with its 12L update.

My favorite and one of the cool features in One UI 5 is "Bixby Text Call". If you are in an environment or in a situation where you can't answer the call or you can't talk loudly, no worries, 'Bixby Text call' can answer the call behalf of you and send your voice in a text format and receive voice from the caller and convert it to text and shows you. Bixby Text Call works in the "Voice to Text" and "Text to Voice" Formats.

Samsung increased the security for sharing files with "Private Share" for sensitive information while you are sharing.

Now developers can customize the watch faces with "Watch Face Studio" in a way it can provide more options for the users on their watch faces. The developer also can access the "Bio-Active Sensor" introduced from Galaxy Watch 4 for developing more health-related apps and features.
